2006年に結成。この時のメンバーの平均年齢は16歳だった。その後、2007年に『Vows for a Massacre』を、そして2008年には『Demo』と名付けられた2枚の自主制作EPを経て続けにリリースする。間もなくして「ライズ・レコード」と契約。

2009年6月23日、デビューアルバム『Apologies Are for the Weak』をリリース。離脱していたライアン・ネフが復帰。

2010年8月17日、2ndアルバム『Monument』をリリースし、全米ビルボードアルバムチャートにて初登場76位を記録する。

2012年、3rdアルバム『At Heart』をリリース。

2014年、4thアルバム『Rise Of The Lion』をリリース。米国モンスターエナジー社が主催するパッケージツアー「MONSTER ENERGY OUTBURN TOUR 2014」出演にて初来日を果たし、同年11月にスリップノット主催「ノットフェスト」日本公演にも参加。

2015年、5thアルバム『Deathless』をリリース。

2017年、レーベル「SharpTone Records」に移籍し、6thアルバム『Shadows Inside』をリリース

2007年にマット・メハナと元メンバーのナビル・ムーによって結成された。2008年にデビュー・アルバム『笑いなしで虐殺を綴るはできない』をリリースする前にエピタフ・レコードと契約した。彼らのセカンド・アルバム『アストラル・レポリスト』はもともと2010年6月22日にリリースされるはずだったが、オリジナルのレコーディングはエピタフによって棚上げされ、ナビルは去り、マットとクリスはレコードを書き直して再録音しなければならない。その後、2011年6月21日にリリースされました。その直後、クリス・レントもバンドを去った。彼らの3枚目のアルバム『キャタピラー・セックス』は2013年にTBAのリリース日で発表されたが、多くのデモとシングルがリリースされている。バンドはまた、リリース日が確認されていない2016年に無題の4枚目のアルバムを発表しました。グループは、多くの電子的かつ積極的なロックジャンルを融合させた実験的なスタイルで知られています。
